Tuen Mun Roasts is a shop which specializes on ducks. Located at the side streets of Banawe Street, this tiny shop can easily go unnoticed. Actually, we didn’t know it exists until my boyfriend’s mom told my boyfriend about it.
From the outside, Tuen Mun Roasts gives a feel of a Chinese carinderia. You can also see some roasted ducks hanging inside their window. The shop itself is a bit small and cramp so we were lucky when some customers just left the shop.
Majority of the dishes they offer are barbecued asado and braised noodles. But knowing that their specialty are ducks, we decided to settle for Roasted Duck Rice (Php 180.00) and Braised Noodles with Roasted Duck (Php 190.00). They also gave us a free soup while waiting for our orders.
While we didn’t found anything extraordinary on their food, we still enjoyed eating our orders since this is one of the few places where you can eat a duck for a cheaper price. Their dishes are also small so if your thinking of having a heavy meal here, it’s probably best to order 2 meals.
