Originally from South Korea, Tom N Toms Coffee has now established its presence in the Philippines. Yay for us who lives in either Manila or Cebu! Lol! Honestly, it was their delicious-looking breads which drew me to them rather than their drinks but I didn’t expect that their drinks are also good.
A look on their food display. These are plastic models of their food. I almost got fooled by it until I saw the pastry chef preparing our food as ordered instead of getting ready one from the display.
Since my boyfriend and I have been to a lot of coffee shops recently, we decided to go with Tom N Toms Coffee drinks which can’t normally be found on other cafes. The Pecan Praline TomNccino (Php 150.00 – Tall) comes with nut toppings and has a nutty finish. On the other hand, the Green Mint Mocha TomNccino (Php 160 – Tall) tastes similar to a mint chocolate. I forgot to request for a lesser sugar on our drinks so I’m quite surprise when both of our drinks was served with just the right amount of sweetness.
Their best seller is the Pepperoni Pretzel (Php 175.00) which is stuffed with pepperoni and lots of mozzarella. But since it is not on its typical pretzel knot, I prefer calling it a cheese bomb. And it really is! It has mozzarella on the top all the way to it’s core.
See? Cheese, cheese and cheese!
We also tried their Deli Pretzel (Php 175.00) which is stuffed with ham and cheddar cheese. It is okay but I like the one with the mozzarella cheese compared to the cheddar cheese.
Tortilla Pizza (Php 185.00) is their only pizza in their menu. The crust is soft and thin and the toppings are juicy. I find it interesting they added corn on their pizza.
For our dessert, we had their Honey Butter Bread (Php 195.00). Honestly, I mistook their butter bread for a toasted bread. Lol. I only learned that it’s not toasted when we ate it. It’s cut into 9 pieces for easy eating and has a sweet and cinnamon taste. My boyfriend enjoyed eating this one.
I’m not very familiar with Korean dishes and I’ve not been to Korea before but I enjoy eating at Tom N Toms. I find their food a little bit pricey but acceptable considering their huge servings.
A bonus: Here’s T-ara’s Jiyeon promoting Tom N Toms Cofee. :p
