Update as of June 27, 2017: Suka At Sili is already close
Suka At Sili is definitely one of the most underrated restaurant I’ve been to. It is located at D. Tuazon (Map) and serves Filipino dishes. My bf and I have been here many times and we’ve enjoyed their food even before we’ve enjoyed eating at Mesa. Their prices are very affordable and their rice is unlimited.
Our favorite is their Tuna Sisig (Php 130.00) combined with their Crispy Hito Power Meal (Php 110.00). For today, we also tried their Grilled Squid Power Meal (Php 205.00).
Here is a picture of their Tuna Sisig. The volume is just enough and I like how it is not oily.
I guessed the name speaks for itself for this one. You can even eat the fishbone of the Hito.
Their Grilled Squid is tender, but the taste is just okay.
Their sauce is composed of toyo (soy sauce), calamansi, suka (vinegar), sili (chili) and some other chopped ingredients. You will need to mix them on your own according to your preference.
And tada! The finish product. I must commend their sauce because it’s really appetising. 😀
And if you’re not yet full with all of those and the unlimited rice, you may opt to order their Halo-Halo (Php 60.00). The ice of their halo-halo is fine. It could rival that of Razon’s. Suka At Sili’s halo-halo is my favorite halo-halo so far.
All in all, I must say that Suka’t Sili is definitely a must try if you enjoy Filipino Dishes.
