Whenever my boyfriend and I go to Centris to hang-out, we seldom eat our dinner there because it’s either we find the resto expensive or we don’t like the menu. (Well, of course, except for Shakey’s.) But recently, we discovered Chic n’ Honey. The place looks simple but it has a neat and bright atmosphere inside. They serve affordable rice meals and pastas.
While waiting, you can order their Chic n’ Honey Nachos (Php 129.00 – Solo) as a finger food. It’s topped with some chicken meat. Their solo size for this one sure is big.
One of their best sellers is the Chic n’ Honey Roast (Php 209.00 – Half). The roasted chicken is tender and it comes with a Bavarian sauce.
Their selection of sauces are Bavarian, Asian Honey, Tropical Mango, Honey Mustard. You can choose which sauce you like for your meal.
They also have Chicken Cordon Bleu (Php 199.00). It is stuffed with ham and cheddar cheese. I heard that this is also one of their best sellers. It is okay considering the price. Although I tasted better chicken cordon bleus before which uses mozzarella. But those are also more expensive.
One of my favorite food on their menu is Burger Steak n’ Rice (Php 149.00). Their burger is a mix of pork and beef but I can taste the pork more. But what I really want on this one is the gravy. Their gravy has somewhat a burnt taste which is really good. Unfortunately, you can’t order for an extra gravy as each of their gravy is prepared as per order. I hope they will consider serving more gravy in the future.
Their Creamy Carbonara (Php 178.00) is also good. The cream is not too thick and the bacon bits are generous.
Another highlight of our visit is their Spaghetti with Meatballs (Php 139.00). I’m very happy to learn that their spaghetti is more on the Italian style. I love Italian spaghettis. Their spaghetti is more tomatoey than sweet. In fact it has real chunks of tomatoes. It’s price is cheap for a Italian style spaghetti.
A picture of our Houseblend Ice Tea (Php 65.00).
They also sell Pure Wild Honey (Php 360.00) which tastes like a honey with a lemon.
You can use their honey as a sweetener on their coffee.
After eating, the staffs bid goodbye to us calling us “honey”. XD I’m not sure what to feel. It’s embarrassing but sweet and funny at the same time. Lol! On second thought, I’ll probably not let my boyfriend eat here alone. Lol!
